Happy New Year..time for a new leather jacket made in Florence?

JENNIFER TATTANELLI - Happy New Year - Jennifer Tattanelli

Dear all,

A very happy new year to you!

2020 is here and I’m feeling inspired and this is going to be a great year, onwards and upwards!

As promised we are currently working on the website, the structure is not complted yet however we started to load many products checking at the first the overall visual display. Thanks to the new platform we have also just put together an online catalogue...why not to start the 2020 with a "readable atelier"!! Click here: Readable Atelier

I am looking forward to see you in Palm Beach in the coming days while first show in 2020 is set in New York on March 28th, if you like to book your time with me or one of my super stylists team simply click on the images below or send an email to: Spring Summer Seasonal Show

Going back to My Bella Firenze, I’ve been keeping my eye on all the great events taking place all over the city and would love to share some of my favorites as well as sharing something interesting I came across recently.

In other news, have you been spotting the Superhumans which have been appearing all over Florence? Until the end of January, street artist Lediesis adds a superhuman to the walls of Florence on Sunday evenings as part of the #ilmomentoèadesso (the time is now) solidarity campaign from Fondazione Il Cuore, in partnership with supermarket chain Unicoop Firenze. So far, we’ve seen icons such as Martin Luther King and Greta Thunberg pop up in the city, who will be next?

January is a stylish month with fashion-filled events galore! An absolute must is Vintage Selection. Held at Fortezza da Basso from January 22-26, you can scope out some true treasures in this giant nostalgic look-back at the best trends in eras gone by. Certain to give inspiration! Besides the wonderful clothes and accessories from national and international exhibitors, there will also be live music, unusual performances and an unbeatable atmosphere.

How about something sporty? Florence Ice Village is the perfect chance to show off your skating skills, or even just to give it a go! Excitingly, Florence is host to Europe’s longest ice-skating rink! At 300m long, lace up and take on the challenge. Held at Vasca dell Fortezza at Fortezza da Basso until February 29, you’ll see elegance, possibly some tumbles, and definitely laughter!

Another must-see is the Pinocchio in costumes by Massimo Cantini Parrini exhibition at the Museo del Tessuto in Prato. Over 30 costumes made for the film Pinocchio by Matteo Garrone, released in cinemas on December 19, will be on show. The exhibition is divided into two sections, the first dedicated to the award-winning Italian costume designer and his sources of inspiration, the second involves the display of over thirty costumes of the main characters of the film, accompanied by images taken from the film itself as well as props.

Interested in news about food? The Florentine noblewoman Caterina de’Medici is said to have introduced many dishes into French cuisine such as "Carabaccia" (onion soup) and "Melarancio Duck" (canard a l’orange). Fascinating to see how Italian food culture spread!

And of course, last but not least, Pitti Immagine, always one of the biggest highlights in the fashion calendar, keep an eye open for spectacular outfits as Pitti Uomo, Bimbo and Filati take place all over the city. With exhibitions focused on sustainability, fashion shows and jaw-dropping style, this is an event to be excited about! Events will take place in various venues from January so make sure you don’t miss out!

Once more...HAPPY 2020 and see you soon!

Yours,

Jennifer
