Go To Post     Buon Ferragosto!! Well it is not a public holidays here in the States however it is in my Bella Italia. It originates from Feriae Augusti, the festival of emperor Augustus, who made the 1st of August a day of rest after weeks of hard work on the agricultural sector. Then the festivity was moved to the 15th of August which is the Assumption of Mary. Overall at Ferragosto, we chill, we enjoy the beach and the family.
